New Food Truck

Food truck date. Find a truck you've never tried and order something you can't pronounce.

Find a food truck or cart pod and pick a truck neither of you has tried, ideally a cuisine you rarely eat. Each order one thing for the other without asking, then find somewhere to sit and share. The photo to get: the two of you with your food in front of the truck's painted side.

The modern food truck boom took off around 2008, when a Korean taco truck in Los Angeles started posting its location online and people chased it around the city. Now many towns have food cart pods, where several trucks park together.

The longest line is usually the best review. Bring some cash just in case, and check the truck's social media for today's location and hours.
