Hide and Seek in the Woods
Hide and seek in the woods. Play best of five on a wooded trail; longest hidden wins.
Pick a patch of public woods or a big park with trees you both know. Set the rules before you start: hide within sight of the trail without trampling plants, no climbing, and one whistle means "come out now." The seeker counts to 60 with eyes closed while the other finds a spot, and you time how long each hider lasts. Play best of five, wear something bright, play only in daylight, skip woods open to hunting in season, and check for ticks afterward. Snap the hider's face at the exact moment they're found.
Good with friends, family, and kids
