One-Shot Quest for Two

One-shot tabletop RPG night. One runs the story, one plays the hero. Roll dice, save the day.

Find a free one-page roleplaying game or a short two-player adventure online, so nobody has to study a rulebook. One of you is the storyteller and the other plays a single hero; swap next time. Dim the lights, put on a moody playlist, set out snacks, and sketch the map on paper as the story goes. Roll for the big moments, let the dice surprise you, and give the villain a ridiculous voice. Snap the final roll that decides how it all ends.
